IGP et VDP
Our IGP Vaucluse 100% Viognier, from a terroir close to the Ouvèze river, is an aromatic, elegant white wine that brings out all the richness and finesse of this grape variety. Ageing in vats preserves the freshness of the aromas and the purity of the fruit, typical of Viognier.
The nose is intense and seductive, revealing aromas typical of Viognier, such as apricot, white peach and pear. These fruity notes are complemented by delicate floral nuances, such as orange blossom, honeysuckle and hints of violet. A hint of citrus, such as mandarin zest, adds a fresh dimension.
On the palate, this Viognier is both rich and unctuous, with a lovely roundness that envelops the palate. Flavors of apricot and peach come through, accompanied by a light honeyed touch that adds complexity without weighing the wine down. Vat aging preserves the wine's liveliness, giving it a well-balanced freshness that tempers the natural richness of the grape variety. The texture is silky, with a good length on the palate, and a discreet minerality that emerges at the end of tasting, evoking the influence of soils close to the Ouvèze.
The finish is long and harmonious, marked by persistent stone-fruit aromas and pleasant freshness. Floral and fruity notes linger on the palate, leaving an impression of purity and finesse.
